The mega popular, Instagram-friendly Museum of Ice Cream, which most recently opened for temporary runs in Los Angeles and New York, is making its next stop in San Francisco.
A tab on the museum’s official website titled “Visit” lists both Los Angeles and San Francisco. At first hinting that the Bay Area city will play next host to the sprinkle pool and lots of ice cream. The company behind the pop-up exhibit also looked to be seeking several workers for the museum. Including a production assistant, a public relations associate, and an operations manager.
Now, the Museum has confirmed that they are opening their next pop-up in downtown SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA at 1 Grant Ave. – the former home to an Emporio Armani boutique – and that it will be completely different from previous iterations in L.A. and New York.
The nearly 108 year old historic landmark is situated in the heart of the city. This is one of the most iconic buildings in Union Square.
The juxtaposition of the historical foundation with Museum of Glaciers Cream’s modern design is sure to unlock the imagination like never before.”
The spokesperson tells USA Time that the upcoming San Francisco location will stand apart from previous pop-ups. In that it will feature “immersive installations, smells and flavors never seen before.”
The museum also notes that the famous sprinkle pool will be “completely different.”
Details about buying tickets for the Museum will be find in mid-August and it will open this September.
